During the evening and night hours, the energy consumption of the bakery peaks due to the simultaneous use of powerful ovens and machines. The existing 3x80A grid connection proved insufficient to meet this high energy demand, which hindered further growth in production.

Thanks to the use of this advanced energy storage system, the shortfall in grid capacity during peak hours is seamlessly absorbed. This technique, better known as peak shaving, ensures that the battery charges during periods of low demand and discharges when the bakery needs extra power. Thanks to this smart control, the bakery can now bake significantly more bread, without the need for a costly and time-consuming reinforcement of the grid connection.
The logistics center faced a strict feed-in ban from the grid operator. In addition, there was a high peak load due to the simultaneous charging of multiple electric vehicles. The limited space in the technical room posed an additional challenge for placing the storage system.
We installed a HEC-MAXX commercial storage system with a capacity of 100 kWh, connected to the existing rooftop solar panel system. The smart EMS automatically manages the energy flow. During the day, surplus solar energy is stored in the battery. At night, this energy is used to charge the electric company vehicles, which has reduced electricity costs by 40%.
